Top actress, Kate Henshaw who burnt her house in Lekki, Lagos earlier this year finally has a good cause to smile as she has been handed a political appointment in Cross River state.
Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Senator Florence Ita-Giwa as the Chairman of the Cross River Ports Authority, according to Vanguard reports.
Ayade who made several appointments into key boards and parastatals, also appointed Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw as his Special Adviser, Liaison, Lagos.
Meanwhile fans of the popular actress have taken to Twitter to congratulate her over her new appointment.

The appointments were made known in a press release signed by the Governor’s Special Assistant on Media & Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita.
